• SUP hire is permitted in Flying Fish Cove only, not beyond Tai Jin House to the left or beyond the first large mooring buoy to the right of the jetty.

• Launch from the boat ramp or end of the jetty only

• Do not take the board outside of the cove

• Do not paddle beyond your skill level or into open ocean conditions

Your safety is our priority.

• Always check weather and ocean conditions before paddling

• Conditions can change quickly, if unsure, return to shore immediately

• Stay close to shore, especially if inexperienced

• Avoid paddling in strong wind, swell, or currents

• Only paddle during sufficiently high tide

• At low tide, reef may be exposed or just below the surface

• Do not stand on, step on, or touch coral, it is fragile and alive

• Avoid dragging or impacting the board or paddle reef or rocks

• Do not go beyond the Drop-Off, currents can be significantly stronger

• Be aware of boat traffic near the jetty and boat ramp and keep well away from swimmers and other vessels

• Maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times

• Do not leave the SUP or paddle unattended in the water or on the beach

• If resting, pull the board fully up onto sand and take the paddle and lifejackets with you

• Do not drag the board over reef, rocks, or rough surfaces

• You may encounter a variety of marinelife on your SUP adventures

• Observe respectfully, do not chase, touch,or disturb wildlife

• Lifejackets are provided and must be worn at all times

• Use of a leash is strongly recommended

• Ensure you are physically capable of paddling and self-rescue

By proceeding with this hire, you acknowledge:

• You are responsible for your own safety and decisions while using the equipment

• You will only paddle within your personal ability and safe conditions

• You accept that ocean activities carry inherent risks, including injury or death

• You agree to follow all safety instructions provided
